About the National Vegetable Society
The Society was formed on 26th February 1960 with the aim of helping
kitchen gardeners in the growing of their vegetables.
The National Vegetable Society has five Branches to which are affiliated
District Associations. Members are affiliated to the National Vegetable
Society either through their Branch, District Association or local
Gardening Society or as an Individual Member to the local District
Association. All decisions are made Nationally by the National Executive
Committee made up from members of each Branch.
The Crewe & Nantwich DA comes under the Northern Branch of the NVS
If you wish to become a judge, you must become an ordinary member
of the Society and pass the examination.
